Introduction
People nowadays are basically using the technology in everyday life. It almost makes the life of people easier. The world still has so many things to invent and discover. Most of the people of the world cannot even live without the use of technology and computers.
The importance of computers cannot be denied in the fields of education because as we all know, this kind of technology is very significant in terms of learning and working. Also, it is a very powerful invention made by man that has endless functions that multiply every now and then and provides information on anything and everything. It makes the world closer, smaller, faster and easy.
Furthermore, education is being considered as the key to success and it has a big impact on everything that we see. Without education, we could not imagine how the world will work out. And technology is giving a big part of education. Everything that we are using is part of education where it was studied and built by the professionals, specialists and other experts learned in different universities and benefits from education and technology.
Claro M. Recto Information and Communication Technology High School were founded in 2008. The school was used to be a primary school of Claro M. Recto Elementary School. It was used by Dr. Clemente Dayrit Elementary School for its Pre-Elementary Department until the approval of the Division Office of Angeles City for the transfer of the Special Program for the Arts Classes for Francisco G. Nepomuceno Memorial High School in June 2006. The school was then known as Philippine School for the Arts. Due to the very limited enrollment in the Special Program for the Arts classes, transfer of the students under the said establishment of an ICT-centered secondary school by the Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Antonieta B. Tioutuico. The school was named Claro M. Recto Information and Communication Technology High School. When it comes to curriculum, the school implements the 2002 Basic Education Curriculum (BEC) and Secondary Education Curriculum (SEC) 2010 enriched with information and communication technology subjects before, however they are now using the K-12 curriculum which means that it is the sum of primary and secondary education in India, United States, Canada, Ecuador, South Korea, Turkey, Philippines, Egypt, Australia, Afghanistan and Iran for publicly supported school grades prior to college.
The proponents are concerned with developing a study entitled ” An Official Online Grade Encoding and Inquiry System for Claro M. Recto Information and Communication Technology High School”. The system will help the teachers in delivering the information of each of the student’s grades and information. Students will visit the Online Grade Encoding and Inquiry System to gather information and to get or update their grades on their different teachers. It is an easy way to give the grades of the students, so it could save time in giving reports of student grades. This study will lessen the usage of papers in giving student grades from the manual system into a web-based system.
